Blueberry Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

Recommended Ice Cream Maker Size: 1.5 Quart

  • 1 1/4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen (slightly thawed)
  • 2 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup half 'n half
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Mash berries. (When using frozen berries, remove from freezer and allow to become slightly soft.)
  2. Combine with remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate.
  3. Start ice cream maker and pour mixture through hole in lid. Churn for 20-40 minutes or until desired consistency.

Serves: 12


Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Variation: 
Replace blueberries with 1 1/4 cups (375 ml) frozen strawberries (processed with juice).

To Use this Recipe with 4 Qt. Ice Cream Maker:  Triple all ingredient measurements.  Pour into canister.  Follow instructions for 4 Quart Ice Cream Maker.
