Chocolate Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:
Stand Mixers
  • 1 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place margarine and both sugars in large mixing bowl. Cream together on medium high speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
  2. Mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, stirring until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture and beat well. Dough will be stiff.
  3. Assemble and fill cookie press with dough; use desired disc. Press cookies on ungreased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until slightly brown around edges.
