Oatmeal-Buttermilk Bread for 2-lb. Loaf Breadmaker
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or vegetable oil
- 1 cup regular oats (old fashioned oats)
- 2 3/4 cups bread flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Directions
- Place all ingredients in the breadmaker pan in order listed.
- Choose Cycle 1 for Basic Bread, 2 pound loaf for size of bread and medium for crust color. Press Start. When done, remove bread from breadmaker and carefully remove kneading paddle from bottom of loaf.
- Let cool 10 minutes before slicing with a bread knife.
