Slow Cooker Apple Cranberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • APPLE FILLING
  • 6 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • COBBLER TOPPING
  • 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker crock combine all apple filling ingredients. Stir until apples are evenly coated.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine all cobbler topping ingredients. With a teaspoon or small scoop, drop dough on top of the apple mixture in the crock.
  3. Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or LOW for 4 to 5 hours. Remove cover and let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Serves: 8-10
