Sweet and Savory Curried Popcorn
Ingredients
- 1 cup toasted coconut
- 1 cup toasted slivered almonds
- 1 cup raisins
- 24 cups popped popcorn
- 1/4 butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine coconut, almonds and raisins.
- Place popcorn in a large bowl, drizzle with butter.
- Sprinkle coconut mixture, salt and curry powder over popcorn; toss until evenly coated.
Serves: 10-12
Test Kitchen Tip: If using popcorn maker with tumbler, divide popcorn into 2 batches. Sprinkle half of coconut mixture, salt and curry powder over popcorn in tumbler first. Then drizzle with half of butter. Tumble until evenly coated. Repeat for second batch.
