Tex-Mex Beef Barbecue

Ingredients

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:  Slow Cooker - 6 or 7 Quart Size

  • 1 brisket (6 lbs.) of beef
  • 2 bottles (18 oz. each) hickory-smoked barbecue sauce
  • 2 envelopes (1.25 oz. each) chili seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup frozen chopped onion

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except meat, in slow cooker. Stir well.
  2. Add meat and stir well to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
  4. Remove the meat and shred. Return the meat to the slow cooker. Stir well. Serve on soft rolls.
